The holiday program will bring together organizations and institutions working in psychosocial support, education support, livelihood support, child protection, healthcare, sports, youth empowerment, and community development to meet, interact, play, learn, and talk with children. This collaborative approach will help organizations and stakeholders understand the real needs and challenges facing children and communities, while strengthening partnerships and referral systems for better support
m school, leaving these children. The community of Agona Otsenkorang, Ahomadonko, and its environs, near Agona Nyakrom in the Agona West municipality of Ghana, is facing a significant challenge. Currently, there are over 500 vulnerable children aged 5 to 12 who are subjected to child labor, exploitation, and modern slavery, often at the hands of their own parents during school vacation periods.
Will provide Psychosocial support and counselling sessions, a safe, educational, and empowering environment for these vulnerable children during the school holiday period from July to September 2026. The project will implement the following activities: Educational Workshops Talent Development, Protection and Awareness, and Nutritional Support .this project will help mitigate the challenges faced by these children and empower them to pursue a brighter future.
The long-term impact of the Children's Holiday Program will be profound, not only for the children directly involved but also for the broader community.
