Thanks to the kindness and continued generosity of our supporters, we are currently supporting 85 vulnerable children at Kasese Humanist School and its associated schools.
Your support continues to make a real difference in the lives of children who would otherwise struggle to access education, shelter, and daily necessities.
Over the recent school term, we have provided new school uniforms to several newly admitted students, supplied exercise books and scholastic materials, and continued to feed and shelter close to 40 children staying under our direct care. In addition, we continue supporting about 45 day scholars by helping cover their tuition and educational needs so they can remain in school and continue learning.
We are especially encouraged that we now have three recurring donors supporting our work. This growing commitment gives us hope for long-term sustainability and stability for the vulnerable children under our care. Recurring support allows us to plan better and respond more consistently to the children's needs.
Another important milestone has been the relocation of needy boys into our newly completed boys’ dormitory. This has improved their safety, accommodation, and overall living conditions.
At the same time, construction work on the extension of the girls’ hostel is progressing steadily, helping us create more safe and dignified space for vulnerable girls.
We are also grateful for the support received through GlobalGiving funds, which has greatly strengthened our feeding program. We have been able to stock essential food supplies including cornflour, beans, salt, and cooking oil, helping ensure that the children receive regular meals while staying focused on their education.
Despite these achievements, the need remains very great. Many more vulnerable children continue to seek help with education, shelter, food, uniforms, and medical care.
We therefore continue appealing for more support from friends, well-wishers, and donors around the world so that we can serve these children better and give them hope for a brighter future.
We sincerely thank everyone who continues to stand with us and support our mission of keeping vulnerable children safe, educated, and hopeful.
