ESPAÑOL

Jarizeth tiene 12 años, está estudiando la secundaria y en su escuela vive un contexto escolar muy difícil debido al bullying que recibe desde hace años. Comenzaba a tener indicios de estrés y depresión debido a esta situación y no encontraba espacios seguros donde podía hacer amigas/os y ser ella misma. 

Hace 2 años que entró a la Orquesta Sinfónica MUVI Pozos, donde encontró la música y el espacio seguro que tanto añoraba, comenta que por primera vez siente que puede ser ella misma y expresarse libremente. 

En MUVI lleva acompañamiento psicosocial, donde la están apoyando a desarrollar habilidades personales y sociales para sobrellevar su vida esocolar regular. Ha hecho amigas y amigos y ha encontrado en la música una aliada amable y hermosa. 

Nos sentimos muy felices de verla sana y feliz, Jarizeth es un ejemplo de cómo la música tiene todos lo necesario para transformar la vida de personas y comunidades.

Jarizeth is 12 years old, she is studying high school and is going through a very difficult school context due to the bullying she has been receiving for years. She was beginning to have signs of stress and depression, she could not find safe spaces where she could make friends and be herself.

Two years ago she joined the MUVI Pozos Symphony Orchestra, where she found music and a safe space she longed for, for the first time she feels she can be herself and express herself freely.

At MUVI she has psychosocial support, where she is being helped to develop personal and social skills to cope with her regular school life. She has made friends and has found in music a kind and beautiful ally.

We are very happy to see her healthy and happy, Jarizeth is an example of how music has everything it takes to transform the lives of people and communities.

Este año nos ofreció grandes aprendizajes, aliados y vivencias, las cuales, queremos compartirles las más significativas:

- Arrancó una nueva agrupación musical colaborativa: la Orquesta Sinfónica MUVI El Refugio.
- Tuvimos la primera convocatoria de emprendimientos de colectivos juveniles, del programa MUVI Emprende, concluyendo con la primer Feria de Emprendimientos Juveniles. Agradeciendo profundamente el apoyo de Cummins.
- Primera titulación en música de un exalumno MUVI, Oswaldo Banda, licenciado en música con especialidad en cello.
- Nos presentamos en Villa de la Paz, con un Concierto-homenaje al Lic. José Cerrillo Chowell, gran aliado de MUVI desde 2014.
- Aplicación de los instrumentos para medir estrés, ansiedad y depresión en las y los alumnos MUVI, con apoyo de la Universidad Pedagógica, campus San Luis Potosí.

Gracias a tu apoyo a través de Glogal Giving, logramos estas 5 metas muy importantes para transformar la vida de más de 350 niñas, niños y jóvenes.

This year offered us great learning, allies and experiences, the most significant of which we would like to share with you:

- A new collaborative musical group started up: the MUVI El Refugio Symphony Orchestra.
- We had the first call for entrepreneurship of youth groups, the MUVI Emprende program, concluding with the first Youth Entrepreneurship Fair. We are deeply grateful for the support of Cummins.
- First degree in music of a MUVI alumnus, Oswaldo Banda, Bachelor of Music with a major in cello.
- We performed in Villa de la Paz, with a tribute concert to José Cerrillo Chowell, a great ally of MUVI since 2014.
- Application of instruments to measure stress, anxiety and depression in MUVI students, with the support of the Universidad Pedagógica, San Luis Potosí campus.

Thanks to your support through Glogal Giving, we achieved these 5 very important goals to transform the lives of more than 350 children and young people.
