Hacer musica tambien es retribuir

By Viridiana Chavez | Coordinadora de Vinculacion

ENGLISH

In July, members of the MUVI Symphony Orchestra visited the “Ignacio Montes de Oca Home for the Elderly” to perform a benefit concert for the seniors living there.

As part of our community development work, our students learn that music can also be a way to share, provide companionship, and contribute to others. This concert was an opportunity to put that into practice and, through their music, offer a moment of joy and togetherness.

After the concert, our students had the opportunity to stay and spend time chatting with the seniors. The experience filled them with great joy and a desire to return and share their music with more people. They went home knowing that, through what they learn, they can bring joy, companionship, and connection to those who are part of their community.

Thank you to everyone who makes it possible for our students to learn music, develop their talents, and discover new ways to contribute to their community.
