Welcome again to our reports! This is a very interesting year! We started our new academic year in May instead of January. Our 8th grade students sat for their National exams in March and joined high school in May, our pupils in Primary School joined new class grades in May and they have three semesters in the next six months. That means every semester will be two months instead of three months. Our government is trying hard to make sure that we are back to our normal academic calendar next year.
However we are glad that all our students in 8th grade performed very well in their exams and have been admitted in good schools in different counties. We are happy to report that 100% of our students who sat for the National exams have been able to join high school.
We have 32 students who are preparing for their National exams in December and they are working so hard to make sure that they perform well. We confidently report that YOU have enabled us to have very committed teachers who are working tirelessly to make sure that the pupils are covering all the syllabuses. There are always positive changes in the lives of the children you support.
We are happy to share with you Ruth’s story. She came joined us in the year 2008 when her parents were displaced due to election violence. Ruth was 5 years old and now she is in High school. She is in form two and will be completing her high school education in two years’ time.
This year we have admitted new children who have lost their fathers and they live with their mothers. Your prayers and support will help us not only give education to these children but to support and empower their entire families.
Once again thank you for bringing a lasting positive change in the lives of the orphaned and vulnerable families.
