Educate an Orphan in Rural Western Kenya

We have had the shortest school holidays ever!  The schools were closed  for 8 days and the learners are back to  school!  Normally Our shortest school holidays go for four weeks but covid 19 pandemic paralyzed everything.   Our government has come up with a new calendar to help us catch  come back to our notmal academic calendar come year 2023.

Our pupils are  on marathon with the exams and other things.  Those who completed their primary studies are joining high school this month. We have anither primary exam in march and November then we will get back to our normal calendar. 
Our 8th grade students did very well in their exams and have been admitted in very good schools. Our next class has 35 pupils, this is a large number and we are looking forward to good results in March. 

our new curriculum system is going on well and by the end of  2023 the old system will have ended. We will conduct the first exam end of 2022 then the students will proceed to junior secondary, no 7th and 8th grade. We are looking forward to seeing the unfolding of this new journey. 
We have more than 200 students who have no sponsorship. Looking back to our project we are very few and this is affecting our us in different ways. As you all know sponsoring a child changes a life forever. It is one of  the best ways for bringing a lasting positive change in a child/family's  life.
