GIVE FOOD & SHELTER TO CANCER PATIENTS

These unprecedented times present a whole new scale of challenges on how we continue to deliver essential services to our patients. Our mayor concern, since these are low income families is children’s nutrition plan. Housing service is still closed and our patients are at their home town; a survey showed us that 36% of our families lost their jobs due to the pandemic this turns up to patients not receiving a nutritionally adequate meal. During the last 2 months we have being conducting a series of short virtual fundraising events in order to put food over our children’s tables. We did indoor cycling, functional training, dance classes, among other activities and almost 50 families have been receiving groceries every week. Fundraising events will continue through out this semester and hope to open our home again soon.

Andrea´s Children Home Foundation is committed to keep pediatric patients near the resorces they need to treat their cancer; their well being is our biggest priority.  During Covid 19 our home welcomes every child that needs a bed, meal or transportation to hospitals.  But as an organization that relies on donations and fundraising events we are experiencing monetary implications that is why we invite you to support our home by sponsoring a bed.  Through this program donors can contribute financially to the housing of a child with his/her guardian.
