Story / Update
Many communities in Kohat face persistent challenges in accessing clean drinking water due to water scarcity, unreliable electricity, and outdated infrastructure. Women and children often spend hours fetching water from distant and unsafe sources.
To address this issue, Alkhidmat Foundation implemented a Solar Water Project, using renewable solar energy to pump and supply clean water to the community. The system operates efficiently without dependence on grid electricity, ensuring uninterrupted water availability even in remote areas.
With this installation, families now have safe drinking water closer to their homes, significantly improving health, hygiene, and daily living conditions. Community members expressed gratitude for this long-term and environmentally friendly solution.
