Supporting Social Entrepreneurship
By Nana Chkareuli | Executive director
Dear friends,
During the summer, we hosted more than 50 workshops and the participants got familiar with the settlement, and its everyday life and met several families, who shared their stories during the lunch breaks of the workshops. We also hosted several international delegations that tried the traditional cloisonne enamel-making technique and supported us a lot.
These activities gave us the opportunity to accumulate funds in order to conduct a professional training program in enamel jewelry and identify skilled women and youth who will join our team in 2023 to facilitate the workshops and increase production.
Again, we hope we will soon be able to create a space like Hello Cafe and we believe we will achieve our desired goals very soon. Without your support and donations, we would not have such encouragement and we want to thank you again.
Kind regards,
Nana Chkareuli

Dear friends,
As mentioned in the previous report, we had a booking of more than 50 workshops from international tourism agencies. After the Covid pandemic, around 2 months ago we started to host tourist groups from the United States and have conducted more than 20 workshops already. It is worthy to mention that groups are very interested in our everyday life and cultural exchange as well as the process of enamel jewelry making. We planned the workshops in a way that groups create their own designs of jewelry and have lunch with locals in typical houses of IDPs and this creates a friendly atmosphere among the visitors and our host families.
Such activities help us to accumulate funds for the non-formal activities led by our civil society organization. We
Again, we hope we will soon be able to create a space like Hello Cafe was and we believe we will achieve our desired goals very soon. Without your support and donations, we would not have such encouragement and we want to thank you again.
Kind regards,
Nana Chkareuli

Dear friends,
It has been a long since the last report. We were not as active as now due to the covid period. Hello Cafe still is not functioning in a different location, but our social enterprise Ikorta is growing and through that, we aim to support the goals of Hello Cafe.
Ikorta has workshop bookings of around 50 groups of international visitors. We offer both enamel jewelry and cultural exchange workshops. So when tourists from different countries try to work on enamel jewelry they also have a chance of visiting local families in Tserovani and exploring their everyday life. have a light lunch with them and talk about the displacement and current situation in the settlement. Through this activity, we try to raise awareness about the war of 200 and also support locals to have some income as a result of such activities.
We hope that soon we will be able to create a space like Hello Cafe was and we believe we will achieve our desired goals very soon.
Without your support and donations, we would not have such encouragement and we want to thank you again.
Kind regards,
Nana Chkareuli
