The aim of the project is to assist local women living in poverty to find a means of livelihood. The acquisition will in a huge way assist the local women to put food on there tables.
The problem has been the long term neglect of the people of the area by the oil prospecting companies in the area. There is no form of empowerment over the years and the community has gone from bad to worse.
The project will a little way teach the participants via self help, from the skills that will be acquired from the training.
The long term effect will bbe definitely personal to the individuals that are trained from the acquisition. We don't intend to stop from this, but continue to make sure, the number of women touched will be substantial.
