Transforming Plastic Waste into Purpose
March 2025 Quarterly Report
Dear Supporters,
We’re excited to share the latest progress at the Recycling Art Studio! Over the past months, we’ve been scaling up production, introducing new products, and deepening our impact in the local community. Thanks to your support, our journey of transforming waste into valuable resources continues to grow.
Key Achievements
We successfully met our goal of upcycling 3,000 bottle caps into eco-friendly keychains!
We launched new products, including animal beds, chairs, and handcrafted trophies, further proving that waste can be turned into something beautiful and functional.
We became an official partner of the Precious Plastic community, granting us access to specialized training for our team, studio organization materials, and open-source blueprints for advanced molds—an incredible opportunity to refine and expand our work.
Our community education efforts are thriving! So far in 2025, we have hosted 65 children in our studio, offering interactive workshops and hands-on recycling experiences to nurture the next generation of eco-heroes.
Challenges We Face
As we increase production, we are now facing a shortage of plastic waste for upcycling. To address this, we are expanding our community swap program—encouraging more local families to exchange clean plastic waste for useful goods. This will not only help us secure more materials but also strengthen the habit of responsible waste disposal among residents.
Growing Our Global Network
We’ve had an influx of international volunteers and experts joining us, bringing fresh ideas, skills, and knowledge to improve our processes. Being connected to a global network of individuals who share our passion for upcycling has been invaluable in advancing our mission.
Looking Ahead: What’s Next?
We are expanding our line of outdoor furniture, designing chairs, sunbeds, and benches using plastic lumber—a step toward sustainable solutions for durable, weather-resistant furniture.
We are also experimenting with jewelry-making, exploring the potential of turning melted plastics into unique necklaces and earrings.
We will continue hosting educational workshops to inspire young minds about sustainability, recycling, and innovation.
None of this would be possible without your support. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helps us keep this movement alive. Thank you for being part of this journey!
With gratitude,
Sanne & The Recycling Art Studio Team
