Shelter of Hope provides a safe space for women and children in Ukraine who have suffered from domestic and gender-based violence. Our shelter offers temporary housing, psychological support, legal aid, and essential social services. However, limited municipal funding does not cover urgent renovation needs. This project seeks to improve living conditions by funding repairs, furniture, and essential supplies, ensuring a safe and dignified environment for survivors.
Women and children who have suffered from violence need a safe place to stay. The shelter provides essential services, but limited funding does not cover repairs, furniture, and necessities. Poor living conditions make recovery and reintegration more difficult. This project will improve the shelter's conditions, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for survivors, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and security.
This project will improve living conditions in the shelter, providing a safe and comfortable space for women and children to recover. Funds will be used for renovations, including flooring, walls, plumbing, and lighting upgrades. Additionally, essential furniture, bedding, towels, and other necessities will be purchased. Better living conditions will support survivors' psychological recovery and help them rebuild their lives with dignity and stability.
This project will have a lasting impact on the lives of women and children affected by violence. Improved living conditions will enhance their safety, psychological recovery, and social reintegration. Women will regain confidence, find employment, and start a new life free from fear. Children will grow up in a more stable environment, reducing the risk of repeated violence. Additionally, the project will strengthen the shelter's capacity to provide high-quality support in the future.
