Summary
Eid-ul-Azha is a sacred occasion that represents sacrifice, compassion and sharing. In Bangladesh, however, thousands of families living below the poverty line cannot afford meat throughout the year. For many of these families, Eid-ul-Azha is the only time they can access nutritious food such as beef or goat meat.
Through the “Sharing Happiness by Qurbani 2026” initiative, OBHIZATRIK Foundation aims to distribute Qurbani meat to underprivileged families, ensuring they can celebrate Eid with dignity and joy. This initiative not only fulfills a religious obligation but also promotes social equity and compassion.
Building on the success of the 2025 program, OBHIZATRIK Foundation plans to scale up its Qurbani meat distribution in 2026 through early donor engagement, transparent planning and community-based implementation.
Challenges
In Bangladesh, many families live in poverty and can't afford meat, making Eid ul Azha a time of exclusion rather than celebration. For some, Eid is the only time they might eat meat. This deepens inequality and leaves children feeling left out reinforcing a cycle of deprivation during a spiritually significant time.
Solution
Through collective generosity and organized implementation, this initiative transforms individual religious obligations into a shared humanitarian response. By pooling donor contributions and mobilizing trained volunteers, OBHIZATRIK Foundation ensures that Qurbani meat reaches the most vulnerable families in a safe, respectful and equitable manner.
Planned Intervention for Qurbani 2026
OBHIZATRIK Foundation will implement an expanded and well-coordinated Qurbani program in 2026 with the following focus areas:
Donation Opportunity
Supporters can take part in Qurbani 2026 through flexible contribution options:
Even small contributions, when combined, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of underprivileged families.
Impact
The “Sharing Happiness by Qurbani” initiative creates both immediate and long-term benefits:
By addressing hunger during Eid and fostering social inclusion, the project strengthens community bonds and contributes to long-term well-being.
Appeal for Year-Round Support
While Qurbani provides seasonal relief, hunger and malnutrition remain year-round challenges. OBHIZATRIK Foundation seeks continuous support to prepare early, implement efficiently, and expand outreach. Year-round contributions help reduce costs, improve planning, and ensure more families receive support during Eid-ul-Azha and beyond.
Your ongoing support plays a vital role in ensuring that vulnerable individuals, especially children and women, receive the nutrition, care and dignity they deserve.
Conclusion
“Sharing Happiness by Qurbani 2026” is more than a meat distribution program; it is a reflection of shared humanity, compassion, and responsibility. With the support of generous donors and dedicated volunteers, OBHIZATRIK Foundation is committed to bringing hope, nourishment and joy to thousands of underprivileged families.
Together, we can turn sacrifice into smiles and make Eid meaningful for everyone.
