Children of LBHC are doing well with your support. Our orphan children are the very heart of our mission. They are all cared as members of our large family and treated as the beautiful individuals that they are. Orphans often need basic survival provisions, medication, food, clothing; blankets housing and protection from dangers and abuse. and to fulfil these needs we have received the generous support from all of you. It honestly means the world to us and the world to the people we serve. The activities recorded in this quarter are as follows.

Holi Celebration: This quarter started with Holi “The festival of colours”. Children like and enjoy this festival very much. One day before the Holi the colours were distributed among the children and from the early morning children of LBHC started to play with colours till 1 P.M. After then special lunch was offered to them.

Annual Examinations: In the month of March almost all the children were busy in the study due to exams and they appeared in exams to go to the next classes. With the help of LBHC counsellor, children were doing the hard study to qualify the exams.

Management of LBHC also organised the medical fitness activity to check the weight and another measurement of the children’s health. Children who were below the proper weight as per their age have been told to pay special attention to health.

Enjoying the movies: After the examination, for entertaining the children, two movies have been shown on different dates. On 22/04/2018 they saw Padmavat and on 01/05/2018 they saw M.C. Marry Com movie. Children liked the movies. After the end of the movie, moral of the movie had been discussed among the children and took feedback from them. Gudiya, a girl of LBHC said: “I learnt from Marry movie that today girls and boys are equal in every aspect.”

Happy with Amazon Gifts: Like every month children again received beautiful gifts from the Amazon. They always wait for the Amazon gift. After receiving the gifts like drawing books, colours, Horlicks, games etc they became very happy.

By helping, you not only give prosperity but also joy and hope. Your help is a priceless contribution to charity and an undoubtedly appreciable support to the disadvantaged and needy. Thank you for your care, compassion, mercy, and for the contribution that you have made for our children. Thank you for maintaining a stable and reliable partnership with us.

As all, we know that children are the best resources of the world. We are aware, of how much good deeds you do for our children. We have literally raised these children and every day we get to see and hear the tremendous changing and results in their daily lives.This is the result of the love, affection and care provided every day in their lives. 

The activities recorded in this quarter are as follows.

Christmas Day and New Year Celebration: - Staff of LBHC, children and mothers arranged a meeting to celebrate Christmas Day. On 25^th December children participated in so many sports like football, kabaddi and race. At night cultural programme had been organised with the help of the counsellor. The programme started with the cake cutting. Children participated in the programme. After the programme, everyone gathered for the dinner. Secretary of LBHC Satish and Ton (SKB member, Netherland) was also present there. Every one celebrated Christmas with huge enthusiasm and was very happy. 

On 1^st January all the children along with mothers and other staff went for the New Year Picnic. They went to visit Tilaiya Dam by bus. They had a great fun by playing singing games on the bus, taking special lunch and doing boating in the Dam. Everyone enjoyed a lot.

Enrolment of 3 children in Vocational Training Course: -3 Children of LBHC were enrolled in the vocational training institute for doing beautician, coral draw and ITI course as per their interest and choice. Counsellor visits the institute time to time to know the progress of children from their instructor/institute. A girl Puja was also doing beautician course but later she decided to complete her education so we again admitted her to the school as we help children to take the decision as per their interest.

The celebration of Republic Day: -Republic Day was celebrated on 26^th January. It was started with flag hoisting and National Anthem. Children of LBHC prepared the speech and patriot songs for the programme. LBHC management and school teachers were also present in the programme. After the programme sweets were distributed among all the children. These types of programme create the feeling of patriotism.

There are so many activities like cleaning the campus, Yoga Practices, Fortnightly health check-up, donor visit, sports activities, parents meeting in school etc are going on the regular basis.

We all are doing our best to make their future better. So thank you very much for your interest in supporting Lord Buddha Home for Homeless/Orphan Children. We heavily rely on donations and are extremely grateful for the generous donations which we received.
