SHAD is committed to diversity and accessibility of SHAD experiences to all high-potential youth, regardless of their family's social and financial circumstances. Of the 650 youth attending SHAD in July 2015, 240 qualified for and received financial support and/or travel bursaries to support their participation in SHAD.
Diversity is a strong value for SHAD. SHAD knows future leaders come from all backgrounds and welcomes, encourages and supports youth whose family situations/financial circumstances might prevent them from achieving their full potential. SHAD believes that investing time and resources in future leaders – regardless of background - ensures that they will reach their highest levels of achievement.
Donor generosity supports high-potential youth in their quest to make the world a better place.
