This year, the key messages of the IDH are that the issues of HIV, drugs, sexual violence and gender violence are closely related.
Our work in schools in Cochabamba on these issues, which have trained teachers for several years, are closely related to each other and cannot be addressed separately.
When we talk HIV, we talk about sexuality, gender roles, sexual diversities and risks in the most vulnerable groups.
Talking about sexual violence and gender violence, it is also talk of cultural machismo the role of women in society.
If you try to drugs, it is necessary to talk about HIV risks, dependence and violence that are generated.
We advocate prevention through teachers and cover all topics, with a focus on gender and human rights.
The tools we give the students can be used for various situations, through increased knowledge and social skills to avoid them.
The IDH remains steadfast in its determination to work with adolescents.
