"My name is Carla, I have 11 years I am in 5th Primary Education Unit in Our Lady of Peace (...), I live with my parents in 4 corners. At school, the teacher Elizabeth, taught us that sex offenders do not always have ugly faces that are not only strangers, may also be inside your home and are not always violent, well that not only women are victims of violence sexual but also men. I also learned that when you're in a dangerous situation, you have to shout or have to communicate to your confidence and above all we must guard against people who consume alcohol at parties when they come with other intentions and scream. The things I know now, I will do them, because once I touched on the feast of Tiquipaya, (...) they put me hand back, I felt really bad and I did not tell my parents, come to my house and I cried in my bed before sleeping, I did not tell anyone because I did not know how to explain what I felt. (...) After my teacher talk about the topic, I feel better. Now I will not be afraid, I will also rely on my parents (...), I'll do the videos teach us; Shouting, ask for help and to ignore our intuition ".
The project trains teachers / as Educational Units on the subject of Prevention of Sexual Violence, information they share with their students in play, participatory and strengthening sessions through video sessions. Thanks to these interventions, children and adolescents know how to avoid and how to react to situations of sexual violence.
