Sewing Machines + Equipment Needs for 16 Artisans

This project will create dignified and salaried work for 16 artisans in Kenya. Equipped with sewing machines, looms, tools, and other basic equipment like extension cords, tables, and chairs, we will be able to employ and care for 16 artisans and their families through our holistic programming. Help us get them started by purchasing the equipment they need today!

Almost 50% of the population of Mombasa, Kenya lives at or below the poverty line. Imani Collective was born out of the idea that with consistent and dignified work, plus holistic programming support such as food relief, medical care, literacy courses, and more, we can empower men and women to rise out of poverty. In order to continue to grow, we must have the equipment required in order to train and employ more artisans.

By adding more equipment that will enable us to hire, train and empower more artisans in Kenya.

Long-Term Impact

We envision a world where we can create a long-term impact by providing consistent and dignified work as well as holistic programming to lift people out of poverty.
