Nearly 84 low-income students from rural areas of Colombia have enriched their learning processes because now they have access to pedagogically appropriate learning material that promotes the development of competencies in core subjects and socio-emotional and civic skills.
With the funds received for this project, we delivered self-paced, self-directed sets of Pre-K Learning Guides to 60 students from four schools in Rovira (Tolima), Orito (Putumayo), and Cienaga (Magdalena). We also delivered two sets of 2nd-grade learning guides (language, math, science, social studies, technology, ethics) to 24 students from a school in Bucaramanga (Santander) whose teacher requested our support due to a fire accident in one of the classrooms.
We believe in continuing these joint efforts to provide solutions and proven resources that can have a lasting positive impact on rural children’s education and the improvement of their life quality. We deeply appreciate your support and invite you to keep donating and joining forces!
Thank you once again for your contribution and commitment to our cause. Learn more about us at https://escuelanueva.org/home/. Follow us on our social networks and help us to spread the word about our work.
