Scholarship fundraising for Maya girls to obtain secondary edcuation at Maya Jaguar Private Technical Institute continues. Of the currently 54 students enrolled, just over half are girls. This represents a rare opportunity for Maya girls, traditionally undereducated, to potentially qualify for university studies or secure gainful employment after graduating from our high school. Approximately $3,500 per school year per student provides edcuation, supplies, room & board, and transportation to from their villages. We are nearly halfway to our goal of funsing 29 female students. Your support is critial and much appreciated to continue our edcuation and literacy outreach to underserved Maya students in the remote highlands western Guatemala!
