School Sanitation Project

We are excited to share encouraging progress from our School Sanitation Project, made possible through the kindness and continued support of our donors. Your generosity is helping create safer, cleaner, and more dignified learning environments for children in underserved communities.

At Akaa Tankye Primary School, construction of the new urinal facility has been completed. The school community is now preparing for the final painting stage before handover.

At Teteman, the urinal block has been fully built and plastered. Final painting and finishing touches are underway, with completion expected within the next week.

At Bagla MA JHS, the school adjusted the original design to better meet their needs and is now working hard to complete the final stages. We are hopeful the project will be fully completed and handed over by the end of this month.

The impact of this project is spreading. We have already received new requests for support from:
Jasikan EP JHS
Nanankor MA Basic School
Baika Somanya MA Basic School

These schools are currently mobilising local resources and preparing their communities for the next phase. With additional donor support, we hope to begin these new projects during the second quarter of the year.

Every completed facility means improved hygiene, better attendance, increased dignity for students, and healthier school communities.
