Report on Feminine Star Africa School Sanitation Project for 2024
Introduction
Feminine Star Africa School Sanitation Project continues to make significant strides in enhancing hygiene and sanitation in schools across rural communities of Ghana. In 2024, the project achieved remarkable milestones, with the successful completion and handover of two key urinal facilities at Mafi-Amidekor Presby Basic School and Jasikan R.C. JHS. These achievements reflect our commitment to providing essential infrastructure that supports education and promotes a healthier learning environment.
Key Achievements in 2024
A newly built three-cubicle urinal facility was handed over to the Mafi-Amidekor Presby Basic School.This project was led by our team of community volunteers whose dedication ensured its success from start to finish.The project benefited from the active participation of community leaders, skilled and unskilled laborers from the Mafi-Amidekor community.The community demonstrated remarkable commitment and readiness to improve education, inspiring Feminine Star Africa to continue collaborating with them in the future on other projects. This project has impacted over 300 current students and will impact future students as well.
A urinal facility was completed and handed over to the teachers and pupils of Jasikan R.C. JHS.This project was unique and successful due to the exceptional contributions from the Parents Teacher Association (PTA), led by the PTA Chairperson, and the dedicated leadership of the Headmistress, of the school.The resilient staff, students, and the entire community played a vital role in ensuring the project’s completion through selfless efforts and contributions. This has reinforced our model which is focused on empowerment rather than charity. This project has impacted over 450 current students and potential future students.

We are inspired by the dedication shown and look forward to scaling similar projects to further improve sanitation and education across Ghana.
