In 2026, Fabretto's team has been busy planning to get started with this exciting project - bringing school gardens to communities in Honduras. This program will give children from 4th to 8th grade the chance to lead the design, planting, and cultivating of their school garden. Additionally, all children at the school will have hands-on learning opportunities through the garden, and benefit from fresh foods for school meals.

Gardens become a space for community building and participation, curiosity and experimentation, and holistic learning across the curriculum - going far beyond just learning to grow vegetables.
