Project Report: Empowering Vulnerable Children through Education in Nigeria (October–December)
This project aimed to improve access to quality education for vulnerable children aged 5–14 in Nigeria between October and December. Key activities included the distribution of essential learning materials such as textbooks and tablets to support classroom and home learning. After-school tutoring and mentorship sessions were organized to strengthen academic performance and build confidence. In addition, community awareness campaigns promoted the importance of education, with a strong focus on encouraging girls’ enrollment and retention in school. Through these interventions, more than 36 children were reached, and approximately 80 percent demonstrated improved school attendance and academic performance. Despite these successes, challenges included inadequate school infrastructure and limited community buy-in in some areas. Moving forward, the project plans to expand the use of digital learning tools and establish stronger partnerships with local schools to ensure sustainability and wider impact.
