New Year, New Hope for Yemeni Children

Happy New Year! As we begin 2026, all of us at the Support Yemeni Society Organization (SYS) wish you a year filled with joy, prosperity, and peace.

We are writing to share the tangible impact your generosity is making on the ground in Yemen. Your unwavering support continues to be a lifeline for the most vulnerable members of our community, specifically children battling leukemia.

The 1/1 Campaign: A Mission of Care

This month, the SYS Team proudly participated in the 1/1 Campaign, a vital initiative launched by the National Cancer Control Foundation. This campaign is dedicated to raising awareness and providing immediate relief to children suffering from cancer during the harshest times of the year.

Thanks to your contributions, our team was able to visit the National Cancer Control Center in Sana''a to distribute essential supplies and gifts, including:

Nutritional Support: Milk and high-quality dates to aid in their physical recovery.
Winter Relief: Warm clothing to protect them against the seasonal cold.
Psychological Support: Toys and presents designed to restore a sense of childhood joy amidst their difficult medical journeys.

Your Donations in Action

Through our ongoing project, “Save Yemeni Leukemia children in Sana'a,” we are doing more than just providing supplies; we are providing hope. In a region where medical resources are scarce, your donations ensure these children are not forgotten. Your Impact in Action: A Playground of Hope

PLAYGROUND OF HOPE & HAPPINESS

Dear GlobalGiving Donors and Supporters,

We at the Support Yemeni Society Organization (SYS) are delighted to share a new humanitarian achievement that brings joy and hope to the lives of children suffering from leukemia in Yemen. Your generous support for our project, "Save Yemeni Leukemia Children in Yemen continues to make a real difference in the lives of these brave children and their families. Thank you for giving them hope, life, and a smile!

A Success Story from the Field!

This month, thanks to your kind donations, the SYS team was able to contribute to equipping a playground within the courtyard of the National Cancer Control Center. This initiative was not just a small project; it was a window of joy for children exhausted by long treatment sessions and daily pain. The joy on the children's faces was indescribable—their laughter filled the air, and their eyes sparkled with happiness as they moved between swings and slides, running freely as if their illness no longer existed. One mother, wiping away tears with a smile, said, "I haven't seen my son laugh like this in a month. You have given him back his childhood, and you have given me back hope.”

A doctor at the National Cancer Control Center added: “This dedicated play area is more than just entertainment; it’s psychological therapy that boosts children's morale and motivates them to fight the disease.”

A Day Full of Love and Hope

The SYS team joined the children on this special day with activities and games, and light meals and symbolic gifts were provided to all young patients. It was a deeply moving humanitarian day that brought smiles back to their faces and reinforced our ongoing commitment to them.

Every moment of happiness these children experienced was thanks to your generosity. Your continuous support is what makes these moments possible. You are the true heroes standing by the children of Yemen in the most difficult circumstances. Thank you for making a real difference in their lives!

Dear Generous Donors,

Recently, the SYS Team organized a special picnic at a local park for the children and the dedicated staff at the National Cancer Control Center. The joy on the children's faces was truly uplifting. One young patient exclaimed, "I had so much fun today! Thank you for making me smile!" A doctor from the center added, "These moments of joy are invaluable for both the children and our team. Your support helps us create hope where it’s needed most."
