Thank you for standing with Kherson and supporting our medical aid efforts throughout 2025. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $1,605 in donations, which allowed us to address a critical yet often invisible need within the region’s healthcare system.
Together with the Kherson Community Foundation “Zahyst,” we provided the Kherson Regional Blood Service Center with a brand-new computer (ARTLINE Gaming X39V75), along with an additional monitor and a wireless keyboard.
This Blood Service Center is a strategic lifeline for the entire region: it manages the collection, processing, and distribution of all donor blood and blood components to hospitals across Kherson oblast. In frontline conditions, its uninterrupted work is vital for emergency surgeries, trauma care, and life-saving treatments.
Before this upgrade, the center’s outdated computer frequently failed, slowing down doctors and technicians at moments when every minute truly counts. The new equipment now enables the team to process requests faster, reliably track blood supplies, and respond more efficiently to the urgent needs of local hospitals.
To make this delivery possible, a local Kherson business volunteered to transport the computer to the Blood Center free of charge — a powerful reminder that even in wartime, solidarity and local cooperation save lives.
