We are deeply grateful for your continued support of our Med Aid initiative. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to respond quickly to urgent healthcare needs in Kherson - a city still living under daily shelling and enormous pressure on its medical system.
This month, together with the Kherson Community Foundation “Zahyst”, we provided the Kherson Regional Blood Service Center with a brand-new computer (ARTLINE Gaming X39V75). This center is a strategic lifeline: it manages the distribution of all donor blood and its derivatives to hospitals across the region.
The old computer was constantly failing, slowing down doctors and technicians at moments when every minute counts. With the new equipment and additional monitor and wireless keyboard - the Blood Center can now process requests faster, ensure reliable tracking of blood supplies, and respond more effectively to the needs of local hospitals.
To make this possible, a local Kherson business even stepped in, delivering the computer to the Blood Center free of charge. This was a powerful reminder that even in wartime, solidarity saves lives.
Every day, hospitals in Kherson treat people wounded by ongoing attacks. Without a functioning blood distribution system, countless lives would be at risk. Now, thanks to your support, doctors have the tools they need to act quickly and decisively.
Beneficiaries
Direct: Kherson Regional Blood Service Center staff and patients.
Indirect: At least seven hospitals in Kherson receiving life-saving blood and blood products for their patients.
These may look like small steps - but for Kherson’s doctors and patients, this support is truly life-saving.
