Our foundation has recently carried out another mobile ophthalmology mission to communities located near the frontline. For many residents in these areas, access to medical professionals is extremely scarce, so each visit provides not just healthcare, but also a sense of hope and human connection.
During this mission, we offered free eye check-ups for 247 patients, provided 174 essential eye medications, and distributed 178 eyeglasses. Though these may seem like simple forms of assistance, they have a profound impact on the daily lives of people struggling with vision issues.
