This project aims to secure funds to sponsor and treat 50 patients of vulnerable displaced children in northern Syria
According to a recent statement made by the United Nations International Children's Fund (UNICEF), there are more than 6 million Syrian children who were born during the conflict in Syria, and they suffer the humanitarian crisis caused by one of the most brutal wars in modern history. These children know nothing in this life but war, displacement, diseases, and suffering. Hundreds of them need urgent medical care to save their lives in light of the difficult economic situation of their families
Our Organization (SEMA) and through its 21 medical points (hospitals, primary health care centers, and Protection centers), which are spread throughout north of Syria, works on providing a wide variety of free medical services, Child Protection services, malnutrition cases as well as the most vulnerable cases. With the available capacity, SEMA responds to the needs of the civilians in north of Syria, that witnesses the greatest tragedy in modern history
SEMA has launched an urgent campaign, with the title "Save the Lives of Syrian Children", to hospitalize and treat children. This campaign aims at securing the amount needed to sponsor and treat 50 children of the most vulnerable internally displaced families in northern Syria, as such cases need a special medical care or a surgery with an average cost of 200 USD $ per child.
