HAPPY CHILDRENS DAY!

Greetings Dear Partner,
We waited to send our report on this special Childrens day - 27th May 2022, when the world celebrates children.
Children are precious and a special gift from God. All the great men and women who have changed the world and impacted lives positively were once children. Thankfully they received adequate care to make it safely to adulthood.
Unfortunately some children born into poor families in Nigeria never make it past infancy due to poor healthcare. This is one the reasons why our project was initiated to support the health of pregnant women and give babies a chance to a healthy start in life. Thanks to your wonderful support we have been providing underprivileged women with relevant health information, birth kits, treated bed nets and other support to ensure that baies have a healthy start in life. To date we have reached over 500 women with our project.
According to UNICEF there is an intimate link between the survival of babies and the quality of maternal care received by their mothers. We believe that children are the future and they need the nuture and care of their mothers. This is why we will not relent in our efforts to ensure that every woman has access to these basic items and health information. At Nnadozie Foundation we believe that " Every woman desrves a safe delivery and every baby a healthy start no matter where they live". Thank you once again for your support, which is making a huge difference. Please continue supporting and sharing our project with your contacts who can support us.
Happy childrens day!

Dear Partner,
Greetings from Nigeria! We are pleased to report that we have continued to expand the reach and impact of our project in Nigeria. To date we have reached over 500 underserved women and more women in rural communities of Abia State continue to receive pregnancy health training, clean delivery kits, treated bed nets and free blood pressure checks. There is now an emphasis on personal hygiene and regular handwashing to prevent COVID- 19 and other harmful diseases.
The beneficiaries have been greatly impacted by the project as demonstrated by safe child births, improved health outcomes and positivive behaviour change by project beneficiaries. There has also been increased uptake of immunizations and child deliveries in the approved health centres. The clean delivery kits have also provided underserved women with essential items for a clean delivery such as sterile delivery mats, sterile gloves, antiseptic liquid, and much more. Our next outreach is slated to take place in June 2022 and we hope to reach 50 women in Umule community. We remain committed to improving maternal health in Abia State and contribute to the reduction of maternal mortality in Nigeria, which is one of the highest in the world. All these would not have been possible without your kind support. Please be informed that April little by little which is a funding campaign by GlobalGiving is presently ongoing . We encourage you to take advantage of the matching funds provided by GlobalGiving to increase the value of your donation. Do also spread the words to your contact. We hope you love the pictures of our latest outreach. Thank you, For: Nnadozie Foundation Judith Ukagwu

We are delighted to share that our project is being positioned for greater impact as Virtue Foundation has included our work in the Global health compendium.
Virtue Foundation's Global Health Compendium, is a directory of healthcare NGOs and hospitals working in 72 low and lower-middle income countries, scheduled to be published later this year with Taylor & Francis, one of the world’s leading healthcare publishers. We are excited to let you know that Nnadozie Integrated Development Foundation will be published in their directory. Their team, with the help of machine-learning algorithms took information from our project for this purpose.
Virtue Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in New York; its mission is to increase awareness, inspire action and render assistance through healthcare, education and empowerment initiatives. The Foundation seeks to provide both short-term impactful and long-term sustainable development solutions to communities across the globe with a focus on health and global health medical missions.
Born out of years of medical missions, the vision for Virtue Foundation’s Actionable Data Initiative is to match the needs and the resources in the healthcare marketplace for underserved regions around the world and thereby reduce the inefficiencies in the delivery of healthcare by better connecting individuals, nonprofits, healthcare facilities and governments.
Your support for this project has given us this opportunity and this has further amplified the impact of your donation. We remain commited to providing life saving information and resources to underserved pregnant women in Nigeria.
