We waited to send our report on this special Childrens day - 27th May 2022, when the world celebrates children.
Children are precious and a special gift from God. All the great men and women who have changed the world and impacted lives positively were once children. Thankfully they received adequate care to make it safely to adulthood.
Unfortunately some children born into poor families in Nigeria never make it past infancy due to poor healthcare. This is one the reasons why our project was initiated to support the health of pregnant women and give babies a chance to a healthy start in life. Thanks to your wonderful support we have been providing underprivileged women with relevant health information, birth kits, treated bed nets and other support to ensure that baies have a healthy start in life. To date we have reached over 500 women with our project.
According to UNICEF there is an intimate link between the survival of babies and the quality of maternal care received by their mothers. We believe that children are the future and they need the nuture and care of their mothers. This is why we will not relent in our efforts to ensure that every woman has access to these basic items and health information. At Nnadozie Foundation we believe that " Every woman desrves a safe delivery and every baby a healthy start no matter where they live".
