We have completed one more stage of this great project that continues to provide a direct response to the water problem!
We continue to change the reality of gardens 193 and 41 of the frentones, province of Chaco.
We install and repair filters, so that the drinking water is pure.
Today, we continue to carry out actions through educational programs.
This is the so-called stage of education on the Right to water and the sustainability of water resources in order to arouse interest in the subject, learn about the problems of other children in the country and become aware of good practices and water care.
And we continue adding schools to the network, there are already more than 100 communities in the province of Chaco in Argentina and we are going for more!
Hello dear friends!
We continue taking steps in this great project!
After conducting a second analysis with the local community and categorizing the problem from the perspective of the beneficiaries, we carried out the capacitation process of the work team that is accompanying us in the construction of the rain harvesting system in Pampa del Infierno, Chaco, Argentina.
Then, we made first steps of the construction.
At the same time, we called for masons together with local leaders, and the volunteers who will participate in the work. The local municipality will provide the support of two masons and the assistance of 30 volunteers was summoned.
We have also finished in April with the excavation the well where the cistern will be built.
The next step is to define the start date of the work of fase 4, which due to local restrictions due to the context of the pandemic has been delayed.
We have finished the second part of this great project that excites us a lot! We continue to change the reality of the garden and nursery 193.
We started with an analysis with the local community to categorize the problem from the perspective of the beneficiaries.
Today, after having completed the construction of a 52,000-liter rainwater harvesting system, we are carrying out actions through educational programs.
This is the so-called stage of education on the Right to water and sustainability of water resources in order to arouse interest in the subject, learn about the problems of other children in the country and become aware of good practices and water care.
"Now our hard work begins, to educate in best practices and water care"
Mirian Sarrionandia, Director of Garden 193, Los Frentones, Chaco
We have finished the first part of this great project that we are very excited about! We continue to take steps to change the reality of kindergarten and nursery n°193. This project will meet the demand for safe water of 142 boys and girls.
The first step was an analysis with the local community to categorize the problem from the perspective of the beneficiaries.
Then, we made the delimitation of the land, we designed the sketch, and bought the necessary materials to begin the construction, while we called together with the local leaders the masons and volunteers.
Today with great happiness we can tell you that we have completed the construction of a rainwater harvesting system with a storage of 52,000 liters.
We hope to set, soon, date to continue working on the education stage on the right to water and sustainability of water resources in order to awaken, on children, interest in the subject, learn about the problems of other children in the country, and become aware of good practices and care of the water.
"It is a great satisfaction to see that, despite so many stumbles, this project that was a dream of Kindergarten n°193 has been achieved and today it is a reality. We just have to wait for the rains!" - Miriam Sarrionandia, Director of Kindergarten and nursery n° 193, Los Frentones, Chaco
