Hello dear friends!

We continue to have progress on this beautiful project!

After carrying out 4 trainings in good water practices, we carried out the process of training the work team that is accompanying us in the construction of the rain catchment system in a second location, in Chaco, Argentina.

At the same time, we summon the masons together with the local leaders and the volunteers who will participate in the work. The local municipality will provide the support of two masons and the assistance of 30 volunteers was summoned.

The next step is to take advantage of the vacation period, to quickly advance the works.

We only have to succeed!

Hello dear friends!

We continue taking steps in this great project!

After conducting a second analysis with the local community and categorizing the problem from the perspective of the beneficiaries, we carried out the capacitation process of the work team that is accompanying us in the construction of the rain harvesting system in Pampa del Infierno, Chaco, Argentina.

Then, we made first steps of the construction.

At the same time, we called for masons together with local leaders, and the volunteers who will participate in the work. The local municipality will provide the support of two masons and the assistance of 30 volunteers was summoned.

We have also finished in April with the excavation the well where the cistern will be built.

The next step is to define the start date of the work of fase 4, which due to local restrictions due to the context of the pandemic has been delayed.

Happy new year dear friends!

We continue
taking steps in this great project!

After conducting a first analysis with the local community and categorizing the problem from the perspective of the beneficiaries, we carried out the selection process of the work team that is accompanying us in the construction of the rain harvesting system.

Then, we made land’s delimitation, we designed the sketch, and we bought the necessary materials when starting the construction.

At the same time, we called for masons together with local leaders, and the volunteers who will participate in the work. It is estimated that the local municipality will provide the support of two masons and the assistance of at least 8 volunteers was summoned.

We have also started in February with the necessary excavation to make the well where the cistern will be built.

The next step is to define the start date of the work and the training of volunteers, which due to local restrictions due to the context of the pandemic has been delayed.

We’ve already started with the first step, identifying the schools in the different communities to make contact, sending surveys to categorize the problem from the perspective of the beneficiaries, and in turn, to be able to detect the needs and commitment of the community.

The next steps will be to validate the results of each institution with an advanced survey to adjust the design of the solutions to the specific needs, taking water samples from each institution. Also, we will begin to manage resources with local allies and local government.

Once we reach the fundraising of at least 25% of the objective, we will continue with the request for quotes of the necessary materials for each intervention that we will carry out.

Help us make this project possible by sharing it with your friends!

Thank you
