Our campaign has so far raised enough funds that will provide 5 families with safe water. The water filters shall ensure clean and safe drinking water for these families for 2 years of which the ceramic element inside will then have to be replaced again.
This year we are looking to distribute to as many people from communities whose water remains unsafe for drinking. We are targeting to reach our first milstone of at least 100 families which is equivalent to 1 community in the coming months. The communities will come from the poorest of the poor who live in far-flung areas in the mountains of the Philippines where AIDFI's work is concentrated.
