What a mighty God we serve.

Hope Rising Homes, Foundation (orphanage home) is matching on.

Presently we have a total of 10 children at the home, ages ranging from 3weeks to 5years old.

The circumstances of how each child came to the home is very sad, from a 5days old baby girl being left in a home alone in May of 2018, another 2 months old found on the street with a broken right arm in June of 2018, 5 girls and 2 boys were rescued from mentally ill mothers on the street of Lagos in May of 2018. A 5 years old girl was sexually abused by her own father in August of 2018. A day old baby boy was left at a bus stop. But the good news is that all these children were rescued and now in a safe and secured home, where they are loved and well caring for.

One of the boys was taken to the hospital as our culture and tradition to have medical checkup done upon each child’s arrival into the home, sadly it was discovered that he was HIV positive. The state government was notified and he was transferred to another home that cares for such sickness.

Couple of times some of the children were sick with minor cold to severe cough and were treated at the hospital with intravenous and oral medications.

The 2 months old baby with the broken arm had the arm casted for 6 weeks, now cast has been removed and she’s doing very well.

All our children are thriving well despite all our challenges.

We will continue to thank all our donors, supporters, staff and volunteers of Hope Rising Homes Foundation in the US and in Africa for their loyalty, dedication and contributions for making it possible for these beautiful children to have a better life.
