Access to clean and safe water remains one of the biggest challenges in the semi-arid regions where our project operates. Many families still walk long distances to fetch water from unsafe sources, often shared with livestock, putting their health and wellbeing at risk.
Since launching the Give Clean Drinking Water to 30 Families initiative, our team has been working closely with local leaders to identify the families most in need of water storage tanks. These conversations have helped us better understand the daily struggles of the community and the difference that reliable, safe water could make in their lives.
We are still in the process of raising funds to expand the project’s impact. Recently, a generous donor contributed $52, a gesture that deeply encouraged us and reminded us that every act of kindness — big or small — brings us closer to our goal. We’re also reaching out to local donors, friends of the organization, and corporate partners with active WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) or general CSR programs.
Our team has been sending inquiry emails and preparing donor proposals to build meaningful partnerships that can help make clean water a reality for these families. Even as we continue to mobilize resources, our passion for this cause remains strong. The hope and gratitude expressed by the families we’ve spoken to keeps us motivated every day.
With continued support, we can bring lasting change, turning long walks for unsafe water into a future of health, dignity, and opportunity.
With gratitude, The Clean Water for Families – Kenya (65341) Team
