On November 18, 2025, the SVPA, Representative Adelita Grijalva, and 47 national organizations convened at the House Triangle for a historic press conference urging Congress to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This event marked the first time both Senators and Representatives came together publicly in support of this bill, demonstrating unprecedented federal unity for Epstein transparency.

The SVPA played a central role by coordinating partners and organizing the largest organizational letter ever assembled on Epstein transparency. The coalition brought together 48 diverse national groups, including major institutions that rarely sign onto the same actions, to urge Congress to release the full Epstein and Maxwell records, with only narrow redactions to protect victims and national security.

The bill passed both chambers of Congress, and President Trump signed it into law on November 19. Once enacted, the administration must release the files within 30 days in a searchable, downloadable format. Advocates remain vigilant as concerns persist that Attorney General Pam Bondi may overuse redaction authority under the guise of protecting victims or national security. The SVPA and partner organizations will continue to monitor this process closely, ensuring that only legitimate redactions are applied and that the public receives the transparency it has long been denied.
