RISE DIGITAL KENYA will equip 1,000 underserved young women and youth in Kenya with education, AI and digital skills, mentorship, entrepreneurship training, and pathways to employment and income. Through practical training and career support, the project will help participants access opportunities in the digital economy, build sustainable livelihoods, and reduce poverty.
Many young people in Kenya, especially those from low-income and underserved communities, face limited access to quality education, digital skills, technology, and decent employment opportunities. Young women often face additional barriers to skills development and economic participation. These challenges can reinforce poverty and limit future opportunities for individuals and families.
RISE DIGITAL KENYA will provide underserved young women and youth with practical education, AI and digital skills, mentorship, entrepreneurship training, and employment support. Participants will gain market-relevant skills and connect with job, freelancing, and income-generating opportunities, helping them build sustainable livelihoods, increase their earning potential, and reduce poverty.
The project aims to create lasting improvements in the lives of underserved youth and women by increasing access to education, digital and AI skills, employment, and entrepreneurship. Over time, participants can increase their incomes, build sustainable livelihoods, support their families, and contribute to their communities. The project will also strengthen digital inclusion and help reduce intergenerational poverty.
