More girls join university
By LUCAS FWAMBA | Project Manager
It is with great honour to report back to our partners for the good work you have done since the inception of this project. The project has helped many teenage mothers who had dropped out of school. Today we are celebrating their achievement after accepting to go back in school and complete their secondary education. I want to share the impact of the project. These year we managed to get atleast 5 girls joining university to pursue their dream courses in different university in Kenya. Chebo is one of the girls who promised not dissapoint us. She managed to get a B plain grade in her KCSE exam last year. She has joined Nairobi university to study Bachelor of Education Arts. As organization we look forward to support her until she completes her education.
On behalf of the organization i want to thank everyone who has supported this project. If you were not you people those girls would not have reached where they are now.
We are planning to enrol other girls to the project because there is alot of girls who have dropped out of school due to pregnancy and lack of school fees.

How covid-19 has led many girls drop out of school
By LUCAS FWAMBA | Project Manager
Since covid-19 started and spread everywhere in the world,we have experienced alot of challenges especially in running our projects. Schools were closed due to pandemic leaving our children in the community. It wasn't easy for the parents and guardians to look after them. Most of this children were exposed to the world which led to behaviour change. Most affected group was teenage girls who had no idea of out of school life. Many cases of early pregnancies and marriages were witnessed. Others were forced to get married at that tender age due to pressure from their parents. As organisation we had to chip in to rescue this girls from getting married. It was a big task for us since the cases were so many. We launched a campaign of taking them back to school after taking over from their parents and guardian. Most this girls did their national exams and passed well waiting to join university and colleges. We look forward to support them fully until they achieve their dream.
I therefore, want to thank our well wishers and supporters for your continued support alsways. It has enabled us to reach more girls.Thank you so much.

Rescuing girls from early marriages project remain sustained
By LUCAS FWAMBA | Project Manager
Dear Donors,
Happy new year 2021. I take this opportunity on behave of Juhudi children in Crisis to appreciate every donor who took part in supporting our project,"Rescuing 100 girls from early marriages in Kenya". Your donations has really helped us to sustain the project which was going to collapse in 2020 due to the pandemic of covid19 outbreak. Our project is now doing very well. Our beneficiaries have returned back to school learning. However, we have register many pregnancy cases where most of the girls who are outside the project are pregnant and they cannot go back to school until they deliver. We have accomodated them in the project to support them go back to school after delivery.
In the year 2020, we have been working outside the office but now we have resumed back and we hope that the pandemic will not affect us again. We intend to have large number of beneficiaries this year because of this girls who are pregnant and need to go back to school and finish their education.
We hope this year we will cover what we had lost last yaer. We look forward in updating you on our progress as we work together to help this teenage mothers,Thank you so much and God bless you abundantly.
