Once again, thank you for all your support throughout Imani’s renovation campaign! Thanks to your help, our team has been able to create goods and develop holistic programs in a more productive and comfortable space.
We have finished all renovations for our holistic center! The building is now a permanent home for our in-house childcare, English literacy lessons, and many professional development programs focusing on financial literacy, business acumen, and more. These programs give our artisans the tools they need to completely break free of the cycle of poverty. Since opening our doors in 2011 we have helped 96 individuals overcome poverty.
However, this is not the end of Imani Collective’s development. As Imani Collective continues to grow, we are going to continue to uplift our community. We will continue to raise funds for our holistic support programs that benefit our employees, along with creating more dignified work through the Tumaini Initiative and begin building a new workshop facility for our Turkana location.
Keep an eye on it to see what we’re working on next!
Thank you all,
The Imani Team
