Once again, thank you for all your support throughout Imani’s renovation campaign! Thanks to your help, our team has been able to create goods and develop holistic programs in a more productive and comfortable space.
We have finished all renovations for our holistic center! The building is now a permanent home for our in-house childcare, English literacy lessons, and many professional development programs focusing on financial literacy, business acumen, and more. These programs give our artisans the tools they need to completely break free of the cycle of poverty. Since opening our doors in 2011 we have helped 96 individuals overcome poverty.
However, this is not the end of Imani Collective’s development. As Imani Collective continues to grow, we are going to continue to uplift our community. We will continue to raise funds for our holistic support programs that benefit our employees, along with creating more dignified work through the Tumaini Initiative and begin building a new workshop facility for our Turkana location.
Keep an eye on it to see what we’re working on next!
Thank you all,
The Imani Team
Thank you all for your investment in the growth of Imani Collective. We have an incredible team and are thankful to have you all a part of it.
This year we are continuing renovations for our holistic center. This center provides a safe environment for our artisans to learn and grow in. Watching our artisans learn English for the first time to enroll their kiddos into our in-house childcare program, we know that it is essential to have a safe building for them to grow in.
This year we will be launching our sewing and tailoring program, which will allow ten new students to break the cycle of poverty join a community that loves and supports the well-being of each individual.
To continue impacting more lives, we will be renovating a new classroom to facilitate the training program. We are hoping to complete this project by September 2022.
Together, we can complete this project and empower more families in Kenya!
Thank you all,
Lacy and the Imani Team
Happy Fall,
On behalf of the Imani Collective team, we want to thank you for your prayers, patience, and contributions during this season of making renovations to our holistic center. We depend on these renovations to ensure that we are providing a healthy and safe holistic center for all of our holistic programs to be housed.
Due to finances, our renovations have come to a halt. We are hoping to raise the remainder of the fund needed to finish the project this month!
Thank you for the gifts/pledges so many of you have given supporting Imani Collective to raise funds for renovating the holistic center. Your donation helps support over 10 holistic programs our artisans enjoy. Food distribution, in-house child care, RISE development, — and more.
Hi Friend!
We are excited to announce that we are on the last phase of our renovations of our Holistic Center in Mombasa, Kenya!
We have completed the main structural changes, added new electrical work, and added a fresh new coat of paint to help brighten up the rooms. The Childcare Center is finished and fully operational and the women have been utilizing the new food distribution center to prepare chai and lunch.
With your help, we have been able to create a space that is warm and inviting for our artisans and their children. We believe that this space will nurture relationships and empower generations.
Thank you for the love and support while we continue to empower our artisans in Kenya. We look forward to sharing more updates soon.
We are better together! So grateful for your support!

Hello there!
I am so excited to share with you the progress we have started to make to renovations of our holistic center with the funds we have received so far!
Since we could no longer have our holistic center in separate buildings that had mold and other issues, we knew we needed to find and renovate a new space to make it safer to host all of our holistic programs including our childcare, food program, dream management program, financial literacy, English classes and more.
We are so excited to show you the progress that our team started making in the renovations - painting and sanding are all beginning!
We can't wait to get more funds for this project so that we can move to the next level of the renovation as soon as possible to ensure the health and safety of our artisans, staff, and artisans' kids.
This would not be possible without your generosity. We are so thankful to you and hope that you know that you are already making an impact to help lift women out of poverty by providing a healthy and safe holistic center for all of our holistic programs to be housed! Thank you for walking alongside us on this journey!
We aren't just better together - we are our best!
