 Dear friends,

This report highlights the key outcomes and impact of the program. The Independent Living Program (ILP) was successfully conducted with the support of key staff members. The 10-day program had focused on enhancing the physical, mental, and social well-being of participants with disabilities. The program provided participants with comprehensive training and support, including orientation on independent living principles, disability rights, and practical skills for daily living. Daily personalized physiotherapy services were offered, helping participants improve their mobility and strength.

Additionally, participants engaged in recreational and social activities, including visits to local landmarks, which helped build their confidence and foster community connections. The program served 30 participants, representing a diverse range of ethnicities and age groups. By the end of the program, most participants showed significant improvement in physical health, mobility and confidence. Many continued physiotherapy at home and committed to raising awareness about disability rights in their communities.

Mr. Rup Bahadur Shahi ( name changed), a participant, shared: "I gained valuable insights from the ILP. I now feel confident that with the right opportunity, I can learn new skills and engage in business ventures to enhance my independence."

The ILP has had a lasting impact on participants, empowering them with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to advocate for themselves and contribute to inclusive development in their communities. We are deeply grateful to our donors for their generous support, which has made this program possible and allowed us to create lasting positive change in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
