Dear friend,

In the remote Himalayan districts of Nepal, people with disabilities face significant challenges in accessing healthcare, physiotherapy, and assistive devices. Because of your support we are able to support PWD through this project to address the urgent needs of 1000 people with disabilities by providing essential health services, physiotherapy, and assistive devices in proximity to their homes, ultimately enhancing their social, mental, and physical well-being.

Our physiotherapy staff has conducted home visits for beneficiaries, delivering tailored physiotherapy services based on their specific needs. In this reporting period, we provided physiotherapy to 70 individuals with disabilities (38 male and 32 female), comprising 42% Brahmin/Chhetri, 24% Dalit, and 34% from other castes (Shahi, Malla, and Yogi). Those facing diverse health issues have benefited from our services. Family members were actively involved, and we encouraged them to continue therapy at home. Additionally, daily physiotherapy services were extended to ILP beneficiaries at the ILP center.

The consistent provision of physiotherapy and follow-up services has positive outcomes. Beneficiaries have shown improvements in physical movement and various functions, such as standing, moving, and walking.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support in making a significant impact on the lives of people with disabilities in the remote Himalayan districts of Nepal. Through your generosity, we have been able to provide essential healthcare, physiotherapy, and assistive devices to needy people, addressing their urgent needs and contributing to the enhancement of their social, mental, and physical well-being. The dedicated efforts of our physiotherapy staff, supported by your kindness, have resulted in positive outcomes. Your compassion has truly made a difference, and we express our sincere thanks for being a vital part of this transformative journey.
