Through our 'Bringing Hope Campaign' join our dedicated team who provide skilled, compassionate care and support to people with chronic disease and their families. We aim to help people live well and die with dignity. Based in Uganda's major hospitals our team helps care for people from across Uganda including refugees from neighbouring countries. Your generosity will enable us to continue to provide this vital service and reach more people.
Our Ugandan team, established in 2008, have developed a palliative care service from the ground up. We have cared for close to 10,000 people, young and old, over the last decade but the need for our specialist care continues to grow. We recognise that without your support we will not be able to meet this mounting challenge and guarantee that all those in need will be able to access high-quality palliative care, something that we strongly believe is a basic human right.
To tackle the challenge of access to palliative care for all, our expert team of health professionals and volunteers will empower others through education, training & mentorship to help in the delivery of palliative care. Our team will continue to promote & provide individualised support for those in need, addressing not only physical but also emotional, practical & spiritual needs. Through our research and advocacy work we will strive to advance palliative care in Uganda for the benefit of all.
