Poor waste management and limited income opportunities affect many communities in Ghana. This project promotes recycling while supporting eco-friendly entrepreneurship to create jobs and protect the environment.
Plastic and solid waste often end up in open spaces and waterways, causing environmental damage and health risks. At the same time, many young people and women lack access to sustainable income opportunities.
This project will train community members in waste collection, sorting, and recycling while supporting small eco-friendly businesses that transform waste into usable products. Participants will receive skills training, basic tools, and guidance to generate income while reducing environmental pollution.
The project will reduce environmental pollution, create sustainable livelihoods, improve community health, promote responsible waste management, and support a circular economy within local communities.
