For more than four years, the children of the village Arenal, receive their school classes in a community room, due to the affectations that the fall of a tree left. We want to raise funds for the materials needed to: - Change roofs - Clean and paint - Make wooden paths to facilitate entry and transfer from the school to the bathroom and dining room - Improve teachers room
For more than four years, the boys and girls of the village of Arenal, have been receiving their classes in a community room, after the afflictions suffered by the fall of a tree. It has changed the quality of the education due to the children do not feel comfortable in their school. On the other hand the teacher's room has been affected by the rise of the river Atrato, where they live and prepare their classes.
For the school to work without problems, we need to: change roofs, clean up, paint the room, make wooden paths that facilitate the entry. Transform the bathroom, dining room and improve the teachers room. If we raise the necessary funds for the materials, the community can help to rebuild and adapt the school. We do not need a workforce because the people are interested to help the children and teachers. Our principal purpose is to collect funds to buy the material needed.
The principal long-term impact is that children will feel comfortable and happy in their school. This will help to improve the quality of education and the facility to teach every day. Teamwork will be the most important learning in this experience, the community will respect and take care the school because it will be the result of everyone's hard work. The adequacy of school will prevent diseases or accidents to children and teachers
