In last 3 months, 6 new libraries have been approved in Kenya and 3 new libraries approved in India 

Our team also inaugurated 2 new libraries in India and held one essay competition 

 

You are making such a hige difference in these underprivaged children lives

137+ new Libraries in India, 7 in Kenya, 3 in Nepal

 

28,400+ Children positively benefited

 

Schools Update India:

Schools are opening in some States.
3 Libraries inaugurated.
But due to Covid-19 situation, most Schools continue to be closed. Approved library forms for 2 Schools in Uttar Pradesh. Books purchase underway for the schools.

Schools Update Kenya:

6 Libraries were setup in last quarter.
1 more library inaugurated.
Approved libraries for 4 more Schools in Nairobi, Kenya

We are working on few more libraries in Kenya 

Schools in India are not back yet, libraries will setup as soon as they reopen

We are delighted to share the project updates as your support and help in these unprecedented times to prepare ourselves as soon as the situation improves in India 

Schools Update India: Due to Covid-19 situation, Schools continue to be closed. The pandemic has halted our project activities on the ground.

Received application forms for 5 Libraries. Once schools reopen, we will initiate work on those.

Schools Update Kenya: Working on Kenya libraries and its modalities.

Old books collection and auction: Old books collection and auction was organized in Texas, USA – auctioned books to raise funds to sponsor 1 library

An opportunity to learn more about IAHV projects, first hand, by joining the online Annual Meet on Saturday, 5th June, 2-5pm

Project Updates

Schools Update:

Due to Covid-19 situation, Schools continue to be closed.

The pandemic has halted our project activities on the ground.

Cooking Masterclass with Seema:

On 5th, 12th and 19th Dec, IAHV organised ”Cooking with Seema” – Vegetarian cooki masterclass to raise funds for IAHV Read Library Project in Kenya.
More than 50 people attended the sessions spread over 3 weekends.

DAAN Utsav – Fundraising commitments during various Winter Festivals (Diwali, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
