Project Updates

Schools Update:

Due to Covid-19 situation, Schools continue to be closed.

The pandemic has halted our project activities on the ground.

Cooking Masterclass with Seema:

On 5th, 12th and 19th Dec, IAHV organised ”Cooking with Seema” – Vegetarian cooki masterclass to raise funds for IAHV Read Library Project in Kenya.
More than 50 people attended the sessions spread over 3 weekends.

DAAN Utsav – Fundraising commitments during various Winter Festivals (Diwali, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your ongoing support to this amazing 'Read Library' project

Schools Update:

Due to Covid-19 situation, Schools in India and Nepal are closed since April 2020.
The pandemic has caused all the school engagement activities to halt.

IAHV 10K Fundraising Event:

On 19th July 2020, IAHV organised a Global Virtual 10K Event where participants from 8 countries participated in 10K Run or Sun Salutations - Raised funds for various IAHV Projects
- More than 30 volunteers in UK raised funds to support IAHV UK, Read Library Project
- Funds raised by two people in remembrance of their family members

We have few things planned and during the lockdown, our support team has grown which is fantastic

On 26 Jan 2020, occasion India republic day, library inauguration:

1. Upper Primary School, Ghata, Rajasthan

13th February, 2020: Four Libraries inaugurated in Shahapur, Maharashtra:

Zila Primary School, Kothare

Zila Primary School, Shenave

Zila Primary School, Musai

Zila Primary School, Fardepada

24 Feb, 2020: Library inaugurated in Gaidailong primary school library, Tamenglong, Manipur, India.
