Many rural classrooms lack age-appropriate books and learning materials, limiting students' reading skills and academic progress. This project will provide reading materials to 300 rural classrooms, helping children develop literacy skills and improve learning outcomes.
Students in rural schools often share outdated or insufficient textbooks, and many classrooms have little to no reading materials beyond basic lesson notes. Without access to books, children struggle to build reading fluency, comprehension, and a love for learning.
The project will supply classrooms with age-appropriate reading books, storybooks, and basic literacy materials. Teachers will receive simple guidance on how to use the materials during lessons and reading sessions to encourage regular reading practice and improve comprehension skills.
Improved access to reading materials will strengthen literacy levels, support better academic performance, and increase school retention. Over time, students will gain stronger communication skills and improved educational opportunities, contributing to long-term community development.
