With Earth Day approaching, this is an exciting time for us to raise awareness about environmental issues in Armenia. As you know, we launched our first two anti-littering PSAs. In January, we worked with Kentron TV to air the PSAs on television in Armenia. This allowed us to reach a different demographic in Armenia than we could online. Again, if you haven't yet watched the PSA's, you can view them here - https://vimeo.com/armenvironment. Please share the link and help us reach even more people!
We are currently working with other likeminded individuals and organizations to organize an Earth Day event and we are planning to film a PSA in Yerevan about plastic bag use on Earth Day as well! Please consider making a donation of $25 to $100 to support our efforts and forward this email on to friends, colleagues, and family. We hope you'll be a part of this exciting collaborative effort and we look forward to sharing the final product with you!
The AEN team is so excited to share our first two Public Service Announcements (PSAs) with you (in English and Armenian), made possible with your generous support! We put our actors in some interesting situations but think the outcome hits home.
You can view the PSAs on our website at http://www.armenia-environment.org/raising-awareness-on-waste-in-armenia/
On this #GivingTuesday, we also ask for your support to make additional PSAs and buy airtime on Armenian television. We're looking for gifts from $25-$100 to help us reach our goal of $6000. We need to ensure people see these and expand our outreach so please share the PSAs and spread the message about the dangers of littering.
We have many exciting ideas for additional PSAs to increase public understanding of the dangerous impacts of poor waste management and littering on human health, wildlife and the environment.
Please forward this update to others and help us raise additional funds to produce more PSAs and purchase air time on Armenian television.
AEN and local production company, Lumen Cinemetography, recenlty completed editing and finalizing two Public Service Announcements (PSA) on waste and littering. Now we're busy contacting television companies to air the PSAs here on Armenian television. We will also be posting the PSAs on YouTube in Armenian and in English and we're excited to share them with you so stay tuned!
Please continue to share this campaign with your network to help it fully develop. We already have ideas for additional PSAs but if you have an idea for a PSA that you'd like to share, please email - email@example.com.
AEN partnered with Yerevan-based Lumen Cinematography to film its first Public Service Announcement (PSA) on waste and littering. On May 23, after months of planning, AEN and the Lumen team worked with professional actors, Hrach Hakobyan and Meri Amyan to film the PSA.
The PSA will be shown on television for one month and the internet indefinitely, reaching thousands of Armenians. The PSA is part of an effort to raise awareness and introduce sustainable waste management practices, educating Armenians about ways to reduce their “eco-footprint” by reducing, reusing and recycling.
We would like to thank you again for your support! We are all very excited to share the finished product with you.
Please continue to spread the word about this campaign to help it fully develop. More funds equal more PSAs and we already have new ideas!
With the warm weather swarming in Yerevan and spring flowers blooming all around, the time is just right to begin filming the PSA's (public service announcements). AEN has met with the creative team at Lumen Cinematography and has found them to be exceptional for the production of the PSA's.
On March 15, AEN sat with Arthur Gevorgyan, Tigran Melkonyan, and Gevorg Gasparyan (pictured) of Lumen Cinematography and discussed various concepts for the PSA’s. But no spoilers here, you have to wait to see the final product. We are anticipating filming to begin next month.
We would like to thank you again for your support, with your contributions we are now ready to send Armenia a message that can influence its citizens to live a greener lifestyle. Please continue to spread the word about this campaign to help it fully develop.
