Here are the rescued dogs, saved from the collapse of multi-pet ownership, their bony frames protected but pleading for care. Peace Wanko has been pulling these dogs from animal welfare centers, where they were labeled for euthanasia. While most are strays, some are victims of collapsed multi-pet ownership or abandoned by their owners.

Multi-pet ownership collapse refers to the situation where owners, by indiscriminate breeding, end up with more animals than they can care for. In many cases, these dogs live in deplorable conditions, deprived of adequate food, walks, and basic care. These dogs, too, were emaciated, their bones protruding from their skin.

Each of these dogs is skin and bones, their ribs visible from afar. When we visit the animal welfare center, some dogs approach us with affection, almost asking to be petted, while others cower in fear or aggression due to past traumas. However, the dogs rescued from collapsed multi-pet ownership just observe, their eyes silently pleading.

Among the rescued dogs, some are so traumatized that they bare their teeth and attempt to attack when people approach. But we believe that with affectionate care, even these dogs will one day open their hearts.
